Submit data: Centricity Practice (Millbrook) UPDATE

Trellis has released a new version of the Trellis data extract utility for clients who send data from Centricity Practice, Practice Management, and Practice Solution; this includes Centricity Version 9, and Centricity versions released in 2009, 2006, and 2004 (previously Millbrook).

This page outlines who will need to use the new data extract utility, and how to install it.

WHAT IS NEW? DO YOU NEED IT?

This revision is intended to improve reporting of provider productivity for the services that are performed by a mid-level provider such as a Physician's Assistant.

In many offices, these types of services are billed using a credentialled Medical Doctor as the "billing provider," and the mid-level provider who performed the service is entered in the "Resource" field. If your office handles mid-level provider billings in this way for ANY of your payers, please update your data export utility as outlined below, to ensure that your InfoDive Productivity reports show these services as being performed by the mid-level provider, and are not shown under the MD who was the billing provider.

Other offices set up their Centricty system so that there is a Billing provider entry which identifies both the credentialled medical doctor and the mid-level provider who performed the work. If your office uses this method to handle these types of services, you will NOT need to update your data export utility; we have already mapped these services to the appropriate mid-level provider. Contact us if your InfoDive reports indicate any corrections that are required in this mapping.

HOW TO UPDATE:
IF YOU USE THE TRELLIS MICROSOFT ACCESS UTILITY

For existing Trellis InfoDive clients who are already using the Trellis Microsoft Access data extract utility

DOWNLOAD the instructions for installling the updated utility (see the file attached at the bottom of this page).
Download the new utility program - this will vary according to your version of Centricity.
- For Centricity versions prior to 2006, download this file [TrellisCentricityV1.zip]. or if you use Microsoft Access 2000, download this file: [TrellisCentricityV1-2000.zip].
- For Centricity 2006 or later, download this file [TrellisCentricityV2.zip]
