Allscripts Professional PM

We have numerous clients who send data from Allscripts Professional PM (formerly known as A4/ HealthMatics Ntierprise).

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • If you have Microsoft Access, we can provide you with an Access database which will automatically select the data that is needed.
  • If you do not use Access, you can also use SQL (or another preferred data-export tool) to create a data file.  Contact Trellis, and we can provide the field names that you will need to export, and other considerations for creating your file.
  • See the next section, How to Submit Your Data, for details on both of these methods.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR DATA:

  • DOWNLOAD the instructions document.
  • If you use the Access method, download the Microsoft Access file to use - this program is currently being revised and will be posed soon.
  • Once you create your data file, you'll compress it to a ZIP file, and send to a Secure FTP folder that we have set up for you.  Click here for the FTP instructions, and contact Trellis for your login ID and password.

DATE RANGE FOR YOUR INITIAL SETUP

  • For your initial data file, the Begin Date should be 1/1/08, and the End Date should be the date you run the export.

HOW TO SUBMIT UPDATES TO YOUR DATA:

  • Once you are “live” on the system, you will provide updates monthly or quarterly, depending on your contract. When you do these updates, you’ll follow the same process that you used for sending the initial data files.
  • When refreshing your data, always select two full years of data plus the current year.  For data exports performed during 2010, use 1/1/08 as the beginning date, and the ending date should be the date you run the export.
    • This will not duplicate any information that you have previously sent -- we will replace your previous data from this time period.  The data export is based on date of service -- it picks up all services in the time period, and also picks up all payments and adjustments for these dates of service, thus it is necessary to include the older dates of service in order to capture new payments or adjustments on the older dates of service.
  • See the Data Refresh FAQ document for information about updates.
